About the scholarship

The Aboriginal Teacher Education Scholarship is for Aborignal students studying a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching at Charles Darwin University.

This program is part of the Northern Territory Government’s plan to create job opportunities and career pathways for Aboriginal Territorians, and to provide role models for Aboriginal students.

Who can apply?

Aboriginal people living in the Northern Territory

You will get:

  • Payment of $15,000 every year up to four years to complete a Bachelor of Education
  • Payment of $15,000 every year up to two years to complete a Masters of Teaching
