Teach for a Term

Be employed for up to a term through an NTG employment contract and undertake early childhood, primary and/or secondary classroom teacher roles!
What’s included
- You’ll be among the highest paid educators in Australia, with salary between $84,191 to $120,742 (based on your years of experience)
- Return airfares from your closest Australian capital city to Alice Springs
- Relocation allowance of $620 per fortnight/$3,100 per term or $857/$4,285 per term with dependents

To apply
Provide a current curriculum vitae and at least two recent referees (at principal or assistant principal level). If you are a graduate, referee reports are not required, you can provide your final practicum report.
Upon commencement of employment, you will need:
- current NT Teacher Registration
- current NT working with children clearance (Ochre card)
- have successfully completed the National Literacy and Numeracy Test (for graduates who completed their initial teacher education (ITE) course at an Australian university after 1 July 2016).

Multi-week relief

Undertake up to 5 weeks relief teaching employment in early childhood, primary and secondary educator roles as a classroom teacher!
What’s included
- Relief teacher hourly rate between $67.25 to $73.99 (based on your years of experience)
- Return airfares from your closest Australian capital city to Alice Springs
- Accommodation is provided via secure serviced apartment
- Transport to and from accommodation will be via cab vouchers or arrangement with the school
